Payments go through Stripe Checkout. Credits land on your account the moment Stripe confirms the payment. You will be asked to sign up first; your 300 free credits come with the account.
The fine print, briefly.
What costs a credit?
One successful (200) response: one app lookup, or one page of up to 50 reviews. Nothing else. 4xx, 429 and 503 responses are free, and so is /v1/me.
Does a cache hit cost a credit?
Yes. Upstream responses are cached for ten minutes, and a request served from cache is still one request. The rule is one request, one credit, with no exceptions to reason about.
Do credits expire?
No. Buy a pack now, use it next year. There is no subscription and no monthly minimum.
What are the rate limits?
60 requests per minute per key. Over that you get a 429 with Retry-After. Need more? Create another key, or email us for a higher limit.
Where does the data come from?
Apple's public iTunes lookup and RSS feeds, and Google Play's public store pages. Reviews are returned as published by their authors and are not stored beyond the ten-minute cache.
Can I get an invoice?
Stripe emails a receipt for every purchase. For a company invoice with VAT details, reply to that email or write to us.
